Greetings!
I am establishing this site as a common place for communication for the PLTW teachers at Nashwauk-Keewatin, Greenway, Grand Rapids, and Deer River. I am hoping this is a place we can share information, ask for help, share successes, and most importantly stay connected. As teachers in small departments we often find ourselves isolated. When starting a brand new curriculum we can have a lot of unanswered questions. Through PLTW we are teaching our students the power of working together in teams. Well here is our team. Let's model effective groupwork. Below is a list of our group. Here are my requests:
1. Visit this site regularly
2. Contribute to the site regularly
3. Make an initial comment to let us know you are here
I am giving everybody publisher rights. Just log in and post to the discussion board. Post pictures, questions, comments, etc.
I will be monitoring the site daily and encouraging everyone to take part.
Thank you!

just seeing how this thing works
Hello from GRHS,
Right now we are running through the design process in POE by having the students design, build, and test aluminum foil canoes. They are very into it.

Hello from GRHS
The two sections of IED are going well as is DE. We are planning on building a Human Powered Plane over the years time. It should be a great project. Hope we can find enough money.
